Dr. Ray Grewal earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University in New York City and later went on to pursue an additional four years of training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Yale University. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of British Columbia and also serves as the Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at BC Children’s Hospital. He maintains a full-time private practice in Vancouver where he practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Grewal is active in organized dentistry as he is the President of the BC Dental Association and the President of the BC Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
The course will highlight the identification, management, and prevention of common medical emergencies that can occur in the dental office. The necessary medications and equipment will also be reviewed.
